Social Value in Infrastructure, Planning and Development Roundtables

About SIMNA’s Social Value in Infrastructure, Planning and Development Roundtables

SIMNA’s Social Value in Infrastructure, Planning and Development Roundtables connect members with experience or an interest in applying social impact principles to infrastructure and development projects. Regular roundtable discussions take place online and the group also hosts occasional webinars on related topics.

Recognising the distinct challenges that arise in these sectors compared to traditional social service or enterprise settings, the group explores issues such as energy transition and climate change adaptation, migration patterns and their impact on social infrastructure needs, social impacts of densification and the provision of infill infrastructure, the importance of fit-for-purpose social infrastructure that includes consideration of all gender provision and cultural needs and the importance of placemaking to wellbeing outcomes.

How to attend

If you’re a SIMNA member with an interest or expertise in infrastructure, social infrastructure, urban planning, social license or asset management, we’d love to see you at a future roundtable:

  • Check the event calendar for details of upcoming roundtables.
  • Sign up to any sessions you’re interested in via the event page to receive the Zoom link.
  • Attendance at the roundtables is for ticket holders only – the meeting link must not be shared with any other colleagues.
