Level 1: Social Value Associate

The SVI Professional Pathway is a multi-level professional qualification for those looking to understand, measure and report on social value. The first step on the journey to becoming an accredited Social Value Practitioner is to sit the online Level 1 exam. Once you pass, you become a certified Social Value Associate. The Social Value Associate Status demonstrates your understanding of how to apply The Principles of Social Value, your theoretical competence in social value and impact management and your passion for changing the way the world accounts for value. 

About the exam

The online exam is assessed through multiple choice, true/false or ‘fill in the gaps’-style questions and is split into six sections, mirroring the modules of the popular Social Value and SROI Practitioner Training (accredited by SVI). The Social Value and Impact Management Exam takes 90 minutes to complete and can be completed at any time.  

All applicants are required to sign the Commitment to Good Practice and the Terms and Conditions upon application.  

Pricing

If you are based in Australia, the cost to sit the exam is $390. You also need to be a current SIMNA member to take the exam.

Progression along the professional pathway

As a Level 1 Associate, you can then progress to become a Level 2 or Level 3 Accredited Practitioner directly with Social Value International.
