What We Believe

  • Social impact measurement is achievable for all organisations
  • There is not one ‘right way’ to measure social impact
  • Sharing and discussing social impact measurement will benefit society

Main Aims of SIMNA Sydney

  • Encourage people to give it a go
  • De-mystify social impact measurement
  • Promote sharing and collaboration
  • Improve social outcomes in the wider community through learning what works and what doesn’t

We Will Do This By

  • Putting on four SIMNA events each year
  • Being advocates for measurement of social impact
  • Responding to members needs and requests
  • Connecting a community of interested parties to learn from each other

SIMNA acknowledges Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia. We pay our respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders past, present, and emerging.

We also accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart to walk together with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in a movement of the Australian people for a better future.
