SIMNA is a growing learning network of members and interested individuals who believe that understanding and measuring social impact is critical to achieving the best possible outcomes for all Australians, our communities and our environment.
About this event
Join the SIMNA WA Committee for their first face to face event of the year, on Wednesday, 24 March 2021.
In a throwback to Geoffrey Robertson’s Hypotheticals, SIMNA WA is asking what happens when the ideal of assessing social impact clashes with the reality of conflicting stakeholder demands.
Join our moderator Aden Date and our confirmed panellists for a deep dive into the seven principles of social value. On the panel are:
1. Professor Paul Flatau, Centre for Social Impact, UWA
2. John Berger, Executive Officer, WA Alliance to End Homelessness
3. Ali Sumner, SIMNA Board member and impact measurement consultant
4. James Boyd, State manager Creative Partnerships Australia and Founding committee member Impact 100 WA
5. Dr Katrina Stratton, (TBC) Outcomes Measurement specialist and Labor Candidate for Nedlands
Tickets: Free to SIMNA Members, $20 for non-members
Parking: Paid street parking. Please refer to this guide to help plan your journey.
This participatory event will get you thinking deeply about the reality of assessing and communicating social value.
