Cheryle has worked for local government for nearly 20 years, and has been in her current role- Team leader Community Development at the City of Charles Sturt for over 10 years. With a background in community development of over 25 years, Cheryle has worked in Katherine in the NT, and has also worked in Mildura and regional Victoria in youth development/services before moving to Adelaide with her family.

Cheryle is passionate about her work, and has always been committed to working collaboratively, sharing knowledge and ideas and developing social outcome measurement tools. Outside of work, Cheryle keeps fit through her passion for dragon boating, and with her team competes locally, nationally and overseas.
