“The Christmas season is a tragedy of ever-increasing inputs, and ever-diminishing outcomes”

This year SIMNA’s great end-of-year Debate will have as its subject Christmas itself, and we have assembled an eminent and eloquent Panel to take a serious and not-so-serious look at the Festive Season, and offer differing perspectives and opinions on the return on investment that today’s Christmas celebrations deliver (or not).

Debaters include:

• The Very Reverend Peter Catt, Anglican Dean of Brisbane
• Annemaree Callander, CEO of Brisbane Youth Sevice

….and there will be a special guest appearance by Christmas’s most celebrated philosopher. This is a must- attend event for members of the Scrooge Society as well as Bob Cratchit think-alikes, and all those undecided Revellers in between.
