Being on the national Steering Committee is quite different to involvement at State Chapter level. The emphasis is very much on SIMNA’s strategic development.
Specialists sought

– Communications (websites, Newsletters, social media)
– Digital platforms and information-sharing
– Developing strategic partnerships
– Sponsorship and fundraising
– Managing volunteers
– Governance

Opportunities available
There are two types of volunteer opportunity available, as follows:
- Full Steering Committee membership: The Steering Committee meets monthly by teleconference for 90 minutes. Appointment is for 2 years
- Advisers to Steering Committee: Advisers would assist for a short (3-6 month) period.
