She said: “I am looking forward to this year’s SIMNA Awards – we have 13 finalists, which highlights the diverse variety of fantastic work that’s being going on in Australia’s social impact sector over the past 12 months.

“The awards are a great way of celebrating and recognising those working to measure the difference that they are making, and as in previous years, the calibre of this year’s finalists highlights their creative and innovate approaches to finding solutions to making better decisions for people and local communities.

All of our finalists are very deserving of the title.”

The SIMNA Awards would not be possible without the support of our incredible sponsors. We especially thank Major Awards Sponsor the Australian Government, Department of Social Services for their support.

Notes

Last year, Mission Australia won the 2018 Excellence in Social Impact Measurement Award – for their Impact Management Project.

The Salvation Army won the 2018 Social Impact Measurement Changemaker Award – for their Moneycare Outcomes Measurement Project.

Finally, the Financial Inclusion Action Plan (FIAP) took home the 2018 Outstanding Collaboration in Social Impact Measurement title.
