SIMNA AGM 2022 and FY 2021-22 Annual Review

The Social Impact Measurement Network of Australia (SIMNA Ltd’s) Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held on 17 November 2022. The meeting was conducted via Zoom. 

Annual Review FY 2021-22

SIMNA’s latest Annual Review was shared for the first time at the AGM. This brief report summarises the network’s activities between 1 July 2021 and 30 June 2022. It also showcases the year’s highlights and shows the extent to which we are fulfilling our strategic objectives.

New Directors Appointed

Five Directors were also appointed at this year’s AGM. They are:

  • Benjamin Jardine, CEO, Type 1 Diabetes Family Centre (re-elected)
  • Helen Sheppard, Chief Executive, UCWB – UnitingCare Wesley Bowden (re-elected)
  • Simon Faivel, Director, Consulting, Social Ventures Australia (re-elected)
  • Edmund McCombs, Head of Social Impact, Lendlease (new)
  • Elliott Tester, Senior Evaluation & Monitoring Advisor, headspace (new)

We also said farewell to Ali Sumner and Kathy Hoyt, who were both voted onto the Board in 2016 at our first AGM. A big thank you to them both for their contribution to SIMNA.
