SIMNA AGM and 2020-21 Annual Review

The Social Impact Measurement Network of Australia (SIMNA Ltd’s) Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held on 11 November 2021. The meeting was conducted via Zoom. This year there were five elections to the Board of Directors.

Background 

SIMNA was formed as a non profit company limited by guarantee in 2016.

New Directors Appointed

Five Directors were appointed at this year’s AGM. They are:

  • Gerard Atkinson, Senior Manager, ARTD Consultants
  • Sarah Barker, Chief Technology Officer, Our Community
  • Aden Date, Arts, Media and Social Impact Specialist  
  • Sarah Jones, Principal Consultant, Murawin 
  • Jessica Suares, Technology Consultant, EY

2020-21 Annual Review

The 2020-21 Annual Review document tells SIMNA’s impact story from 1 July 2020 and 30 June 2021. A variety of activities were undertaken to fulfil SIMNA’s mission and purpose. Importantly, this 12-month period charts the network’s experience of the COVID-19 pandemic. This was a challenging period but also an invaluable time to consider what it means to be a dynamic network and how well or otherwise current structures and working arrangements support the continued development of the network.
