Nitasha Singh

Nitasha comes from a consulting and strategy background, with experience across transformation projects, stakeholder engagement and impact-focused planning. Before moving to Melbourne, she worked with EY, where her clients included The World Bank Group and India’s Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. One of her most meaningful projects involved delivering the Recognition of Prior Learning initiative that formally recognised the skills of thousands of informal workers. She also supported strategic planning for EY’s global work with the World Bank across 80+ countries. Nitasha enjoys making sense of complexity, breaking down big ideas into practical steps and approaching challenges with curiosity and calm.
Nitasha is passionate about youth development, mental health and education outcomes. She’s currently volunteering with a local mental health NGO, supporting strategic planning and outcomes thinking. Known for her approachable style and structured problem-solving, she’s now exploring how her global consulting experience can support the for-purpose sector in Australia.
As part of the SIMNA Victoria Organising Committee, she is particularly interested in building connections, supporting community learning and exploring practical approaches to measuring social impact. Outside of work, you’ll often find her cycling along local trails, soaking up Melbourne’s green spaces and chasing good coffee.
