Michael Abbott

Michael is an experienced project manager and community development practitioner with two decades of experience delivering place based, community centred projects in remote, regional, and urban locations.

Michael currently leads the development and implementation of transformative projects at UnitingCare Wesley Bowden to deliver service improvements, an exceptional customer experience and measurable impact.  

Michael has a passion about determining “what works, and for who” and is currently completing his Masters in Evaluation at Melbourne University. 

In his spare time Michael likes to be active in his local community, running the local paint bank to support community art projects and organising small projects to reduce waste and improve recycling.
