Katya is a consultant with Social Ventures Australia (SVA) with expertise in social impact measurement, evaluation and strategic planning in the for purpose sector. Katya is passionate in supporting her clients to grow the impact of their programs and investments to create better outcomes for disadvantaged Australians. She is a passionate ambassador for improving social impact literacy and has contributed to the development of the sector through publications and speaking engagements.
Katya is an Accredited SROI Practitioner. She believes that SIMNA is important because the current system is failing our society – our economy is unfair, unstable, unsustainable and unhappy:
Things need to change! We need to recognise broader societal impact in our everyday decision-making. This means putting social value at the heart of how our economy operates to ultimately deliver better outcomes for the people and the planet.
Katya believes that SIMNA is a critical force in helping to connect and magnify the efforts of individuals and organisations around the country, working towards embedding the social value alongside traditional perception of economic value.
