Jonathan Finighan

Jonathan Finighan

Jonathan is a Principal with SVA Consulting, where he is a leader in measurement, evaluation and learning. He has significant experience in leading MEL projects with a wide range of clients, from evaluations of large government programs, to helping small community organisations take their first steps to building better evidence. He has also designed and delivered training in MEL for new starters joining the SVA Consulting team.

Prior to SVA, Jonathan worked as a Consultant with Firetail Ltd, a London-based boutique strategy consultancy. There he led program evaluations and outcome monitoring systems for multi-country programs in the areas of agricultural development, food security, and maternal and newborn child health across sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. Jonathan has also held a wide variety of research, evaluation and consulting roles with non-profits and funders in the UK and Australia, including with New Philanthropy Capital, GSMA Mobile for Development Foundation, Forests Philanthropy Action Network, FARM Africa and the Sidney Myer Fund & Myer Foundation.
