Joanne Cummings

Dr. Joanne Cummings is a Senior Researcher in the Social Policy and Research Unit at Anglicare Sydney, with nearly 20 years’ experience in social research, evaluation, and applied policy work across the community services and non-profit sectors. Her work focuses on strengthening evidence-based decision-making, amplifying lived experience, and identifying unmet needs to drive social impact. Joanne leads and contributes to major research and evaluation projects that inform service improvement and public policy.

She co-chairs the SIMNA Western Sydney Committee and holds a PhD in Sociology.
