Jen Riley

Jen Riley is a founding member of SIMNA and has been an active contributor since its inception. She served on the SIMNA Sydney Committee for four years and later joined the SIMNA Victoria Committee. She also initiated the SIMNA Senior Leaders Roundtable, creating a space for senior leaders to share insights and drive best practice in social impact measurement.
Most recently, Jen was Chief Impact Officer at SmartyGrants, leading national initiatives to build evaluation capability including the roll out of the Outcomes Engine. Today, she is the Australian Hub Manager at Intentional Peer Support, continuing her focus on capacity building and learning networks.
She has held senior roles at Oxfam, Plan International, the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute (MCRI), and United Way, and previously founded her own impact consultancy. She also established the Clear Horizon Academy, helping to build sector-wide capacity in monitoring and evaluation.
Jen is a non-executive director at Windana Drug and Alcohol Recovery. She is driven by equity, learning, and the use of data to create meaningful change. Jen sees SIMNA as her professional home and is excited to help steer its next chapter as a board member.
