Individual SIMNA membership is for anyone working in, or curious about, social impact measurement and social value in Australia, from those just starting out to seasoned practitioners.

Here’s what membership means in practice.

Social impact work can be isolating, especially if you’re the only person in your organisation who does what you do, you’re finding your feet in a new field, or you’re working regionally or remotely. SIMNA connects you with a national network of people who genuinely get it, regardless of your sector or role. And through our partnership with Social Value International (SVI), that connection extends globally, so you’re never too far from someone grappling with the same challenges you are.
• You get better at your work. SIMNA membership keeps you close to contemporary thinking on social impact measurement and social value, learning that’s practical, grounded in Australian contexts and informed by the best of international experience. Over time, members tell us they feel more confident using social impact language, holding their own in conversations with funders, executives and boards, and actually applying frameworks rather than just knowing about them.
• You stay informed without being overwhelmed. There’s no shortage of content out there. SIMNA does the filtering for you, delivering curated resources through our newsletter, events and website, and connecting you to global best practice through SVI. We know your time is limited. We aim to be the signal, not the noise.
• You belong to a profession, not just a job. SIMNA plays an active role in defining and legitimising social impact measurement as a profession in Australia. Being a member signals your commitment to good practice and continuous learning, to your peers, your organisation and the broader social impact sector And for those who want to go further, SIMNA offers pathways to accreditation, a way to formalise the expertise you’ve been building.

Individual Membership is $90+GST per year.

We also offer Supported Membership of $50+GST per year to anyone who needs it, no questions asked. Just enter the code SUPPORTED50 at the checkout to access this rate.

How can I pay?

You can pay by credit card or request an invoice via the online membership form to pay by EFT.

How long is my membership valid for?

Your membership is valid for 12 months from the date you sign up. You will receive a renewal notice by email 14 days before your membership expires with details of how to renew for another year.
