In Focus: Impact Measurement Best Practice at YMCA of Brisbane

June 10, 2020 By Administrator

SIMNA is a vibrant learning network of individuals and organisations that embrace, practice, share knowledge and promote social impact measurement.

As a community of people who want resources allocated in an equitable, efficient and effective manner, and who have the skills in measuring and valuing what matters, this is the chance for our community to help guide Australia as we embark on a new order.

Join us for the second webinar of our online ‘In Focus’ series!

About this event

The Y has a long history of tackling entrenched disadvantage. In this ‘best practice’ webinar, Rebecca Duell, Impact and Innovation Lead at YMCA of Brisbane will share with us the thinking behind the design and implementation of their ‘Impact Measurement Methodology’.

In October 2019, the work of Rebecca and the team was celebrated when they took home the ‘Excellence in Social Impact Measurement’ Award at the 2019 SIMNA Awards Ceremony.

The X-factor leaps out on this work. In the words of the Judges:

“Their achievements are singular in the levels of impact across families and communities – whole societies are benefiting and are being uplifted to demonstrate real social and cultural value within socio-economic outcomes built from the ground-up.”
