Helen Sheppard
Helen is a not for profit specialist, with 20 years in operational and business development leadership. She has worked across many sectors, including youth, community development, family, housing, early childhood, mental health, out-of-home-care, homelessness, aged care, justice, health, disability, employment and training.
Helen is passionate about education and employment as pathways into opportunity that break cycles of exclusion and disadvantage. She drives measurement of social and economic impact, striving for just and inclusive communities.
Helen is currently the Chief Executive at UnitingCare Wesley Bowden and a Director of the Social Impact Investment Network South Australia. She is a qualified social worker, holds Diplomas in Business and Frontline Management, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Arts (Women’s Studies).
