Elfie Taylor

Elfie Taylor

Elfie is a strategic leader with over 20 years’ experience in early childhood education and community services, as practitioner, public servant and currently in philanthropy as a Director with the Colman Education Foundation’s Our Place initiative.

Her work focuses on integrating education, health and family services in disadvantaged communities within Victoria to deliver better outcomes for children and families. Alongside this, she engages directly with state and federal government to advocate for children, support the development of policy briefs and publications, and curate events that drive system reform and strengthen outcomes across the sector.

Elfie brings skills in governance, system reform, and advocacy, and a strong track record of building partnerships across government, philanthropy and community. Her interest in social impact measurement is practical – using evidence to improve the way services work together, not just adding more services. Along with these skills, she has a great ability to support government and stakeholders in understanding how to move from aspiration to implementation.
