Creating an Outcomes Culture in a Small NGO

July 25, 2014 By Administrator

Join us for a SIMNA NSW Chapter workshop on Tuesday 19 August, 7.30am – 9.30am. This event is once again generously hosted by Hub Sydney, 101 William Street, Darlinghurst, NSW 2010.

You can book here!

The workshop will be delivered by Beth Stockton and Maya Romic. Beth and Maya are Learning and Development Consultant at Results Leadership Group Australia (RLG Australia). RLG Australia provides a range of services that can assist to implement Results Based Accountability (RBA) within an organisation, program and the community.

RLG Australia is the business arm of NSW Family Services Inc. (FamS), the peak body for Family Services across NSW.

In this workshop Beth and Maya will share with you:

  • Their trials and tribulations of measuring outcomes
  • Their experience of scoping the benefits and cutting edge tools available
  • The essential learnings they have gained through their commitment to outcomes focussed work.

FamS has been measuring its outcomes since 2008. The culmination of this effort saw FamS as Runners Up for the Impact Measurement Awards in 2014.

In support of this event, Louisa McKay, Acting CEO of NSW Family Services (FamS) and a SIMNA NSW member said:

“We believe our organisation is a far better one for beginning this journey seven years ago, however, we still know there is always room for improvement. After all, that’s what outcomes measurement is all about.”

We look forward to seeing you there!
