Ryan Edwards is a PhD (Economics) candidate at the Crawford School of Public Policy, Australian National University. He has worked across the not-for-profit, private and public sectors in various policy, research and program design, management and evaluation roles. His research projects centre on quantitative impact evaluation and human development.
In this seminar Ryan will –
- Discuss how impact measurement can be applied in different sectors, contexts, and at different scales.
- Outline some of the major obstacles which have hindered organisations’ adoption of sound impact evaluation practices and suggest some potential solutions to these challenge
- Comment on what he expects future innovations in impact evaluation practice will entail.
