SIMNA’s Senior Impact Leaders Roundtable aims to connect senior social impact leaders to support and learn from each other. It creates a safe space to discuss some of the challenges and opportunities that you (and others just like you) are experiencing in your role.
Each month we hold a facilitated discussion on a specific topic that is unique to this group, sometimes with a short presentation to get the conversation started. Some of the topics covered include influencing organisational change to measure impact, setting organisational outcomes, measuring across different departments and recruitment of impact staff.
Who can join
We’d love to hear from you if you are (or are interested in becoming) a SIMNA member and you:
- Hold the most senior social impact role in your for-purpose organisation (this may or may not be in an executive position)
- Are responsible for the measurement of your own organisation’s work / programs rather than those delivered by other organisations (i.e. your clients, partners or grantees)
- Are the ultimate decision-maker and ‘go to’ person for social impact measurement and reporting in your organisation
- Lead the organisation-wide rollout of your social impact strategy.
How to join
If you are interested in joining, please complete this short expression of interest form. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and if you meet the criteria, you will be invited to the next meeting.
Key principles
- Attendance at the monthly roundtables is for named invitees only – the meeting invitation must not be shared with any other colleagues
- Details of the discussions at the monthly roundtables are to be kept confidential at all times
- To attend roundtables, you must be a current paid up member or affiliate of SIMNA
- Membership of the group is conditional on remaining in the same role. If you leave your job, we would request that you reapply with your updated details within three months
- If you are new to SIMNA, you may attend one trial session before joining.
Meet our enablers
The Roundtable is facilitated by SIMNA member volunteers as ‘enablers’. Meet our fantastic team:
We also wish to acknowledge and thank Jen Riley for her role in establishing this initiative and being part of the initial group of facilitators. We also thank Jenny Anderson, Rachael Bajayo, Sam Barrett and Tanya Glivar for their contributions as part of the ‘enablers’ group.
