Dr Gemma Bothe

 Gemma Bothe Lotterywest

Dr Gemma Bothe is the Lead in Grants and Social Impact at Lotterywest and Board Member for The Junction Co.

After completing her PhD in Communication & Media Studies and Sociology & Anthropology from The University of Western Australia, Gemma focused her expertise as a qualitative researcher in academic and commercial settings.

Gemma is a fierce advocate for regional Western Australian communities. She has championed impact through her engagement as a Board Member for the creative non-for-profit enterprise, The Junction Co. Through her work as a consultant she has provided backbone support developing the structures and evaluation frameworks of two Collective Impact projects –  Newman Futures and Hedland Collective.  Gemma has also led the development of a variety of strategic social investment and social impact projects throughout her work as Research Lead in at Creating Communities.

This expertise in social impact and strategy has provided Gemma with the tools to build and connect people and resources to drive positive, impactful change across the non-for-profit, government and industry sector, resulting in lasting positive change.
