SIMNA TAS: 15 Attend Networking Lunch

SIMNA Tasmania –  Networking Lunch held in Hobart, 11 June 2015

Fifteen people attended the first SIMNA Tasmania  event in Hobart. This networking session introduced SIMNA Tasmania and discussed the importance of outcome measurement and the need to share information about projects, measurement techniques, latest research and contacts across a range of projects in Tasmania.

Tassie 2015 1The session also included brief presentations from guest speakers David Cummins (Glenorchy Child project), Robyn Bevilacqua (DHHS) and Matt Durose (Mission Australia Housing) discussing social impact measurement.

 

A short discussion at the end of the event started a conversation about the types of events and activities which would be beneficial for those interested in social impact measurement in Tasmania.

A series of panel discussions and increasing access to training information, research Tassie 2015 2and best practice case studies were highlighted by attendees as areas they would like progressed by the Organising Committee.
