Not-for-profits leading the way at the SIMNA Awards 2016
Not-for-profits took out the top honours in all 3 awarded categories of the Social Impact Measurement Network of Australia (SIMNA) Awards 2016, announced today at the Think Outcomes Conference in Melbourne.
The SIMNA Awards recognise excellence in social impact measurement. Simon Faivel, Chair of SIMNA, said: ‘The winners of the SIMNA Awards 2016 have a lot to be proud of. Their commitment to transparency, accountability and rigour sets them apart from the competition and positions them as leaders in social impact measurement in Australia.’
The winners of the SIMNA Awards 2016 are:
- Excellence in Social Impact Measurement: The Smith Family
- Excellence in Collaboration: Youth Action NSW
- Best Newcomer to Social Impact Measurement: Connections UnitingCare
The SIMNA Awards are in their second year. With more organisations measuring the impact of their activities, applications for the SIMNA Awards are getting stronger and more competitive. Simon Faivel said: ‘We congratulate all the finalists and winners of the SIMNA Awards 2016 and look forward to having even more to celebrate for the next round of SIMNA Awards.’
In the spirit of collaboration and transparency, SIMNA Award winners will have the opportunity to showcase their work on the SIMNA website and at SIMNA State Chapter events.
