Ali Sumner is the founding CEO of the POWA Institute, Western Australia’s not-for-profit Institute for new thinking in the areas of economic, environmental and social change.
Established in 2006, the POWA Institute helps West Australians learn new thinking skills and tools to deliberately create better futures for themselves, their organisations and communities.
Ali is also Chair of Green World Revolution, an environmental social enterprise providing opportunities for unemployed people to gain self-employment through urban farming.
She is a trained Social Return On Investment (SROI) analyst, has a Masters Degree in Business Leadership from Curtin University and is currently a PhD Candidate at Curtin University Graduate School of Business.
